R+P Post 3: Music genres that interest me

1) Dance
The rise of disco in the 1970's led to it's popularity among the public. By the late 1970's, a new form of dance music was developing. This music, made using electronics, is a style of popular music commonly played in dance music nightclubs, radio stations and raves. Many sub-genres of electronic dance music has evolved into the list below...
Sub-genres within 'dance' - highlighted is the type of dance music that interests me most.
Dance music videos usually tend to feature some sort of technical dance choreography to them and this has been kept consistent throughout the decades as exampled below.
Dance music videos in the 2000's:
"Easy love" Sigala

Dance music videos in the 90's:
"Poison" Bell BivDevoe

2) Chill music
Chill out music is synonymous with the recently popularized terms "smooth electronica" and "soft techno"and is a loose genre of blurring music into several other very distinctive styles of electronic and lo-fi music. It's characterized by their mellow style and mid tempo beats - "chill" being derived from a slag term meaning to relax- you can find an example of what stereotypical chill music sounds like below.

Chill out music videos vary greatly amongst each other but some of their main similarities tend to be that their either narrative or concept music videos and involve slow movement of the camera and many scenic shots.
